Stone Lodge will soon be setting up a charitable foundation that will help tackle the challenges of deprivation and social exclusion in disadvantaged areas. A percentage of future Stone Lodge operating profits will be donated to this venture.

The management and employees have come across a wide range of people throughout its 13 years and feels that this is very important to set up, in order for them to give something back to the community.

Stone Lodge aims to set up a range of projects and initiatives aimed at vulnerable people and hard-to-reach groups. They will try and involve as many of their residents, past and present as possible.

Everything we’ll do will have the interests of the community and its residents at its heart.  We’ll listen, learn and consult on new projects and continue to do this throughout their duration to make sure that we meet the needs and hopes of the community.

While the charity is being set up, Stone Lodge will be  working in collaboration with their local communities on some of their projects.  Further more, the directors and employees assist a homeless charity (either Crisis or Shelter) with their Christmas volunteer events, which help to house and feed the homeless and vulnerable over the festive period.
