As a tenant you will receive a tenants’ handbook when you check in to one of our properties.

 

The tenants’ handbook consists of many topics. It has been constructed to help clients feel at ease before and when they have moved into the property.

 

It is a small, yet helpful and detailed booklet explaining what Stone Lodge offers its clients and how it will go about resolving certain issues that may arise in due course.

 

The booklet consists of a repairs and maintenance section, the procedures followed regarding a complaint, the procedures followed regarding an accident or incident and many more other subtopics.

 

As well as the topics tenants’ will find helpful, our tenant handbook also includes Stone Lodge terms and conditions which each tenant should adhere to.

 

In addition, the booklet has a section on safety such as fire safety and steps to take in other emergencies. As well as a fire safety section, we have also created a bad weather section and guidelines for people to pursue in a heat wave.

 

Furthermore, Stone Lodge has in place an equality and diversity policy and as a result Stone Lodge will eradicate discrimination and encourage tolerance and equality amongst its staff and the communities in which we serve. Not only has Stone Lodge adopted an equality and diversity policy, but Stone Lodge has also adopted a staff code of conduct section which includes standards our employees should adhere to. Any problems a tenant faces with an employee should observe our complaints procedure section and notify Stone Lodge promptly.


Stone Lodge also believes in being environmentally friendly. Stone Lodge tries to adopt the most efficient ways of being environmentally friendly and suggests tips for tenants’ to follow in reducing their carbon emissions footprint; this policy is adopted and explained further in our tenants’ handbook.

 

Finally, Stone Lodge has researched and found useful contact numbers tenants’ may find useful, such as important Council departments, local police stations and local GPs’ contact numbers as well as many more useful telephone numbers tenants may require.
